Metro Hotel Sydney Central - Sydney Hotel Guest Reviews

“Great Location, Affordable, Friendly Staff”

We stayed in the hotel for 7 days and 6 nights. The hotel was in a great location. Points of interest such as Paddy's Market, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and the QVB were all within walking distance. The Central station was less than 5 mins away. Capitol Theatre was across the road and there was a light rail and monorail stop just minutes away. The ease of accessibility was just remarkable. The room was cosy and clean. The staff made up the rooms promptly every morning. The toilets could have been better maintained. However, the pros of the hotel far outweighs the cons. The staff were ready to help when we needed help. I am glad we chose this hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I visited Sydney again.

Great spot, step out your door and your close to shops, food, theatre, light rail, train and bus station. Room was standard size and clean. Bathroom was average, a light pocky but did the job. TV has limited stations and air-con/heat thermostat didnt seem to adjust. The staff where great and tentative to our needs. Great and comfortable for a quick stay.

Room Tip: Best room at end of hall 2 avoid 6am door slamers

  1. This is a tiny and secluded island which is situated in the Andaman sea, 70 kms away from the southwest coast of Thailand and pretty near to Malaysia. This island is a part of Tarutao National Marine Park and it is said to be settled by a group of sea gypsies from Malaysia. Its four marvelous beaches is the main thing that makes this one of the best tropical vacation spots. These beaches are the Pattaya beach, Sunrise beach, Sunset beach and Karma beach. You get a variety of accommodation, from the air conditioned sea facing bungalows to the typical grass huts. The natives are extremely friendly and they provide you a daily catch of amazing seafood. You can enjoy snorkeling at the nearest island. November to March is the best time to visit the Koh Lipe islands.
